long live the tarp.
it was pretty late in the day when i took these pictures. none of them has the color right. the walls are milk-colored (4%, homogenized), and the trim is "french vanilla," which is an ice cream color, but there's a greenish cast to it.
now we can begin excavating gertrude.
The rooms are absolutely gorgeous--trim, walls, floor, etc. Everything!
Sue and I agree that you are the one to come here and take on our painting projects. Wait!! Don't lose it before I've finished. Air fare, and payment for a pillow and blanket--major cost-- included.
Jean, You are the Goddess of Home Decor, bar none. Our "professional" paid painter can't hold a candle. Sue said I'm not allowed to show her this blog because she would die. I have to ask myself if that should occur then it must be preordained. It's in the stars. It has to be.
In all seriousness I know how much this had to take out of you physically. It's a wonderful feeling when you complete a project, but remember to breathe.
